Patrick Stewart and Emanuel Ax have released a music CD of Richard Strauss' Enoch Arden. Patrick first performed the moving narrative to this work in his 1999 Tanglewood concert appearance with Ax. They recently reprised their collaboration in Los Angeles and London. Enoch Arden is the tale of a young Scottish sailor who leaves his family to make his name in the treacherous seas of the East.
